The
London Fire Brigade reported Firefighters
wearing breathing apparatus rescued two women from a fire at a house converted
into flats on Ilford Lane. Three other adults and two children safely evacuated
from another flat in the property before the arrival of the Brigade.
Fortunately no-one was injured.
Crews
from Ilford and Barking fire stations extinguished a small fire in the kitchen

Assessments advice: Houses
converted into flats should have a Fire Risk Assessment for the common
parts of the Building. The report will include any identified fire separation
deficiencies and Fie Alarm requirements.
