The London Fire Brigade reported that Eight fire engines and more than 50 firefighters tackled a fire in a basement nightclub on Ganton Street in Soho.
Crews confined the fire to the basement of the building, which has a restaurant and offices above it. The Station Manager who was at the scene said: "Crews did exceptionally well and worked incredibly hard in arduous conditions to stop this fire from spreading to other parts of the building and to contain it to what was quite a large basement area. Having a Building with different premise uses can be rather complicated, as a mix of guidance may have to be considered – London Fire Risk Assessments are experienced in providing compliant Fire Safety Assessments for many London premises of this nature. One of the major parts of the Fire Risk Assessment will be how you evacuate the Building in the time of Emergency. All London Fire Risk Assessments reports have an fire Emergency Plan London as part of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requirements.

London Fire Risk Assessments advice to clients: If your premise is part of a Building complex ensure that you share information as part of your ‘co-operation and co-ordination’ responsibility. You should witness any premise’s Fire Safety Assessment especially if the premise has an impact on your escape route.
